Stranger Things ‘Season’ Triptych (2020)

I created the first work from this triptych, the Season 2 poster, as a tribute way back in 2017. As you can probably tell from my other work, I love making pieces in pairs and multiples, and the idea for this triptych had been rattling around in my brain for about a year. My #PosterOctober challenge seemed like a good time to try and make it a reality. Each season of Stranger Things has been based a season/holiday: Season One was Christmas/Winter, Season Two was Halloween/Fall, and Season Three was The 4th of July/Summertime. I let that guide the direction of these pieces, and I’m hoping Season Four (whenever that will come out, thanks to COVID) will be based around Spring so that I can make this series a quadriptych! That would be a first for me but it would be a very satisfactory end to this little project.
